Never stay on a project if you feel you’re not learning or your goals aren’t met. The reality is no one is invested in you, only you know what you want and deserve. Don’t ever feel guilty about changing projects if there’s a better opportunity. From project perspective it’s always easier for them to retain the current team so they don’t need to retrain new joiners and wait for them to adapt and build all those relationships. Once you’re no longer needed or useful for the project see how fast they roll you out.

Yea that’s why those projects always use the reason if you leave now don’t expect me to support you. But come on man you really think project will fight for you? Resource is always replaceable anytime just look at how extensively the hr is hiring. You’re on the losing end if you give out your goals and better opportunities just to stay on the same project

That's why if you know how to play the game, plan ahead in terms of project timeline. Personally I will take into account whether project length coincides with TD period. If not have to scramble to secure another project in advance just for TD.
