Hi, I’m from NTU and i just wanna say, many of us or in fact many of my other local Uni pals respect every student regardless if you are from private uni or not. Because ultimately once you start working, no one cares what school you came from. Or in fact when you interview no one freaking cares if you’re from Harvard, NUS, SIM or what. I have friends who are from SIM and we met as interns at AWS, honestly their performance or on par with the rest of us. I guess we can never impress everyone or change the minds of everyone, same as how some private Uni people may view us local uni people too. I guess the environment you are in speaks a lot about you as a person. Back to my internship at AWS, the other local Uni interns there never shared the same mindset or attitude as the local Uni op in this thread, so you see they are educated and are in AWS. But from the way that op speaks, he doesn’t come off as educated, let alone say he has any good internship under his belt or is even employed now?

We respect people who respect themselves first.
