About there. SM range is very wide because this is the default rank where most people will end their career. I would say around 8k - 11k for SM and 6k - 8k for M.
Also to note that once you hit M level usually got sales KPI to meet (although still not direct P&L responsibility), so many people leave to join corporate finance at this stage.

Don't know anything about the industry then dun try to talk like lao jiao. Big4 manager already >14k, Senior Manager should be at least 18 or 20k a month.

Hi Tomypee,
You must be a LJ since you commented other not to talk like lao jiao.
Actually who are the Big 4 that we are talking about.
My Big 4 might not be the same Big 4 that you are referring.
Just like the LJ I indicating might not be the lao jiao that you indicate.

agree with PP
TonyP, it seems you don't have any idea of the big 4 auditing firms, namely E&Y, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, so shut up. 14k for Manager? if that is the case, then you wont see Audit Managers in Big 4 leave the industry in high number.
to set the record straight, the right range are as follows:
Associate Year 1 - 2700 - 2900
Associate Year 2 - 3000 - 3200
Audit Senior Year 1 - 3500 - 4000
Audit Senior Year 2 - 4500 - 4800
Assistant Manager - 5100 - 5400
Manager - 6000 - 8000
Senior Manager - 8000 - 11000

While I don't have the actual report with me, these numbers do seem to gel in with my experience with the big4 and the finance industry in general.
As for TonyP's 18k - 20k for Senior Manager, I'm 99% sure that's not the case. $20,000 salary is likely to be for a rather large-sized practice lead generating around $6 to $10 million in annual billings.

I can corroborate the above number. Got a friend in Deloitte drawing 4.3k and she is a senior auditor with ~5 years of experience.

No wonder when you are not partner yet, you are basically just make up a number in big 4. Bank is better, at least they share the bonus and remuneration evenly to downline. But 10 to 15 months is alot of bonus......? This apply for junior partner?
