One of the question that left unanswer in the last mark tham session:

Why is Analyst always be the victim to be roll off when project is not doing well, when Level 6-7 are the decision maker?

Is they want to save cost they shld roll the management out first? How are we going to make the management accountable?

Tell them to leave and join NCS. It's a better company imo

My colleague is due to promote from A to SA but just heard it never happen. (Joined more than a year ago)

Hi I just joined ACN for a few months as a fresh graduate and have been on two projects so far. Both projects, I had no mentor, both projects no one guided or taught me anything, they just threw me the task and expected me to complete it. Is this how ACN is like? If it is then I don't think this culture fits me.

Welcome to the real world. Do not expect any hand holding or silver spoon
This is no longer like school whereby you have a guide to refer to. You're expected to problem solve and resolve issues. Minimally there should be someone more senior for you to seek guidance but that's it. A lot of stuff are to be learn on the job. How you deal with the issues will reflect in how good you are and whether you're fit for the wage. A lot of ppl tend to ask for high wage but wants hand holding all the way which is quite far off from reality. Nonetheless ask your senior for advice but don't expect them to solve your issue. This is very different from the idea we were supposedly taught to believe in the education system but reality is a whole different ball game.
