I resigned.
Partner wants low budget cost (time) and high profit margin
Partner wants use least manpower to complete an audit engagement
This means originally 3 person do become 1 person do.
This means partner wants high profits margin.
Partner also afraid my salary eat into his profits.
Since you like high profits margin, nevermind ...I resigned as a cost to you.
You can do audit engagement yourself.

Really hope I can tahan until October. Peak after peak is so unbearable.
Not only underpaid, but focus so much on the job that neglect all other aspects of life.

Orange will announce on 1 July.
Give it a few days for people to discuss and word to spread…

Not sure whether to be a public accountant as the profit margin of audit seem very low to me.
Anyone wanna share how much is the profit margin in the business?

If audit partners and public accountants really want good money, then don't perform any audit that is small. No point doing. Just serve the big clients and earn big audit fees.

Its not supposed to be like this
Its more like a small audit but reasonable fees to ensure sustainability for next generation
