As someone who is currently working in CPF (close to 3 years, and overall 8 years+ in 2 different agencies in the Service), I can say CPF is one of the agencies that is willing to change and quite fun to work in. CPF is also one of the 'youngest' in the Service, not the newest agency but having the youngest workforce as compared to other agencies.
The Core Management makes an effort to hear its workforce and make lots of changes to allow ownership in our work and allow us to come out with new ideas to tackle difficult challenges..

The newly introduced Performance Bonus system in 2020 may seem lucrative but the revised Merit Increment system in 2020 may be unfair to some.
Heard that new officers (e.g. served 1 to 3 years) are getting higher increment amounts which were never offered to "existing then new officers" in the past years.
A number of longer serving officers (3 years and more) are experiencing increments cut by almost half. Wonder if HR has forgotten that the group of longer serving staff also started very low, learn and grow through the years? Also, unlike longer serving officers, new officers do actually qualify for any pro-rated bonus without passing probation!
Does this mean that new staff will be happy for the first few years and later face the same situation as longer serving staff?

I know one who was converted. It really depends on the headcount for the department.

Not a good place? Interviewed this guy who seems to be job hopper. Worked at a bank for few months and seeking to leave cpf board. Any insights if high turnover rate recently?
