Generally MX scheme is the lousiest compared to other statboards own schemes.
Thanks for the insight! Could you please elaborate on how much higher & wider this range for STB is for Senior Manager? Does STB also enjoy 13th month, corporate bonus & individual performance bonuses? I quoted a range that is only slightly higher than what I'm currently drawing, because I took into account the bonuses that public servants generally receive.

Now I am wondering now if it is too low. For reference I quoted $7.5k to $8k; would this range be more for Manager or Senior Manager?

females start early at workforce and career ahead of male even when their salaries are few hundred lesser in the beginning.

They only lose out in the race when they settle down for child.

Got an offer from a stat board, seemed like perm position when I applied but was verbally told it is a 3 year contract (every 1 year renew contract)

Googled and seemed like stat boards no longer/seldom offer perm positions now, so wondering if such contract positions are still able to get bonuses and progression?

Any risks or things I should know about the contract situation? (especially if you're in a SB yourself)

Thanks!

in same situation as u (also SB), let me elaborate.

mine's 1 + 1 contract. which means that if my 1st year performance is decent/good, they will extend me for another year. was also told there's possibility of being emplaced on permanent scheme.

FYI, after HR has prepared the employment letter for u to sign, u can read n see if your entitled to the 3 times bonus that all civil servants get. mine has it even though im contract staff for now.

What happens to officers who hit the salary ceiling for their MX? I take it that no one will even acknowledge and they will assume you are happy to not get further increments till you are promoted or quit.

Is it true that ministries promote slower than statboards? I feel like I’m always stuck at mx12
