Have almost perfect GPA (1 A-) but no scholarship hahaha...
Abit afraid to nego because was quoted that using 13mths is 5.2+ when I brought it up hahaha...
Now just worried about the contract being offered (No annual increment until they decide to emplace me as perm staff i think  )

Should be regular office hours! But knowing me, I think I voluntarily commit more time to do my best to learn and get up to speed especially for the crucial first year

lol what's the BS? 1st of all i've never heard of no MI until u become perm. U shud still receive pro-rated MI. Furthermore, what kind of contract are you on? How come it seems to imply you can be converted to perm at the end of your contract? It's not guaranteed as HR might just renew ur contract.
Are you in engineering track? Your starting pay for your class of honour is about right, after the company wide salary adjustment.

Hello, not sure what BS stand for cause haven't seen it mentioned in forums yet unless it's a derogatory term hahaha. And yes! Just clarified and the Merit Increment(MI) is still applicable even though i am technically on "contract". I was initially worried because i saw replies between 2016-2018, don't know which thread, mention that contract staff fixed salary and no MI....
I think i am being offered the normal contract for fresh grads and the converting to perm is not guaranteed and will heavily depend on vacancy and performance.

I got offered AM 4.3k , 3 years of exp that is not related ? 5 months ago
4.3 include their so called 13 months alr

Currently in civil service sector for about 10 yrs as a diploma holder, age 33 and drawing 4.5k monthly and annual package about $77k +/- and on some years will get extra 10-20k for strategic payout after fulfilling a certain number of years in service.
I just got my part-time degree fr SUSS and am thinking to join another relevant Ministry/ Stat Board as a graduate. Does it make sense?
Anyone had a similar path where they studied part-time degree and moved on to other companies as graduate?
