But if you think about it, 85k for 3 YOE is like 7k a month.

That's actually pretty high for your age already...

My monthly is only 6200. It's the bonuses that adds it up.

In contrast, those who joined 1-2 years later are at 6400-6500. The management associates are at 7000-7500.

Don't be too sad, I've total 9 YOE, 4 yrs this year in HTX, still XT6, 37 this year pay at 6300. Not very good or very bad performer, my peers are XT7 or getting XT7ish pay of 7-10k in other companies. Am i sad, yes, can i do something about it "leave" yes, do i want to do and go thru the hassle "no" will i change my mind "possibly". I just accept that life is not fair and once ready find for new opportunity elsewhere, no one really cares about you, most are looking for someone who is beneficial to their own progress in life/career, if you are not that person for others [your bosses] to shine you wouldn't be in their main interest to keep you or promote.

Stay strong.

some people take gap year or further studies, or simply take a longer time to reach a certain stage in life - nothing wrong with that

Thank you for sharing your experience. I hate that such things exist. The so called rule that we cannot discuss wages only helps the organisation pay unfair wages to people.

It is such a deplorable practice. For part of a SB, and with such a ideal that says so much abou being transparent, this is such an irony.

Everyone wants equal pay, or rather, wants the pay of the highest person at the same level. But fact is, not everyone in the same role gives the same value to the company.

Rather than harping on how unfair things are and blaming external circumstances for your plight, why not do something about it? Find ways to make yourself more valuable, take up courses / certs that are recognised in the industry that will improve your value.

By then, if the company still doesn't recognise your worth, it will be easier for you to negotiate for higher pay when find one that does.
