Can you drive?
If you can, driving instructor is not bad.

Don't look down on Grab drivers.

Some are just rich retirees passing their time as Grab drivers.

You can be driver for rich men.

Lightbulb Resigning in July

I intend to resign on 31 July so that I am eligible for my mid year bonus, but my Principal asked me to resign end of May because of constraints regarding hiring another teacher to replace me. I’m wondering if that is a norm for MOE or can I actually stand my ground and insist on the last day being 31 July? Kinda wasted to lose my mid year bonus just coz P claims cannot hire another teacher in middle of the term. Anyone who has had similar situation?

You can resign any time you like. It's the right of all workers

And since you are leaving service, no need entertain your P

The posting of new teachers scheduled to coincide with their graduation from NIE.

It is not directly correlated with resignations.

Your P is confused.

Don't waste the bonus.
Even if you don't want it, collect it and donate to your favourite charity.
Inflation is real and things are cheap.

Don't let your P bully you.
