Does anyone has friends working or is currently working at MOM?

How is the working culture over there, both in HQ (Havelock Road) and Customer Svc Centre (Bendemeer Road)?

Anyone here works in JTC? Cleared the final interview and pending offer, wana know roughly how much a fresh grad (2nd lower) can get!

Went for an interview there recently and would like to know about the work and culture in the policy directorates.

is it true that most ministries and statboards nowadays offer fresh degree holders a 2yr contract?

and they will only be placed on / converted to permanent scheme if their performance is at least average?

Everywhere also the same.

Momsc is good, cant say the same for hq policy side. A lot of scholars and a lot of arrogant grads. Momsc is very family oriented, management is super nice and friendly. Work is tough though, u enforcement side?

Not from enforcement, more of operational. Are you doing enforcement? Is MOMSC's work more operational and enforcement in nature?

yep all ministries are like that.

Most of them work till late (8pm-9pm ish), people are generally nice.

It really depends on what u do. U in ops, that's enforcement too. U went for law enforcement officers interview? Shld be ops team, its a great place, good bosses and great culture, but enforcement in general is tough and demanding.
