Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS)
Hi Everyone,
Will be graduating with a Econs degree ( NUS) this year soon.
Does anyone has any idea on the prospects and culture at CCS? Was looking through their website and am quite interested in how CCS ensure vibrancy through fair competition in different industries.
Appreciate your inputs!

NHG work culture is good. Was glad to have been a part of it. Career opportunities are abound, u just have to find your own direction and pave your own way.

Quite rare in my ministry. You have to really suck or your boss really thinks you require one more year to learn to be not confirmed.

Anyone has information about these 2 roles?
Am in my final year in SMU and am looking around and applying for jobs...

Information including salary (for fresh grad), application process, typical job scopes, etc.
Thank you very much!

Hi Experts
Pls advise.
Started work in 2007 in a stat board as a diploma holder. Starting salary 1.8k
got my degree (pass degree, distant learning) in 2011. However till today, I have yet to use my degree.
My last diploma scheme was Technical Scheme grade 4, Principal Officer. Recently opted for the extended MX scheme, and was placed at MX 12, with no pay increment, $3.8k.
If I were to move to another stat board/ministry, how much pay can I expect?

Your mickey mouse degree isn't recognised, plain and simple. Did you get HR's blessings to take the degree or did you just take it on your own? Btw a just a 'pass' grade degree from a DL school is quite shitty. I know of UOL DL 1st class holders and they're barely holding up against 2nd Lower local grads.
The fact that you waited 4 years after graduating just to try your luck outside works against you. You better prepare a gd reason for HR to hear in case you make it to the interviews. Either way you can still try, but don't get your hopes up too high. Gd luck.
