Sponsorship
Curious to know, are teachers allowed to take up sponsorships for brands? Must declare?

And the turnover rate of the younger officers at G3 and 4 is much higher than the other officers.
All can be easily seen from statistics.

Wonder how significant the lack of hybrid working arrangement, aka WFH, in teaching, vis a vis the private sector, contributed to this.

Don't teachers who genuinely like to teach prefer face-to-face teaching?
The problem isn't the need to be in the classroom. The problem lies with the total teaching load which is increasing every year due to manpower leakage, and all the extra projects, committees and busywork on top of teaching.

Care to share the broad parameters? Will it be
1) compulsory rotation after a period of time in the same school?
2) for all MM roles, regardless of grades?
3) subject to P approval on choice of schools?

Seem like a WOG policy. In other ministries, officers rotate to different places every 3 years. Create (some) openings and to break up entrenched localised workplace cultures. If it is happening for EOs, think that's a good change.

Cannot. Civil servants not allowed to receive any kind of benefits outside of employment. You are not even allowed to write your own assessment book, you think you can take on sponsorships meh?

Been with MOE for 6+ years since graduating from NIE and currently drawing income of $8k p.m. gross. Feeling grossly underpaid compared to my peers and feel like looking out and joining another industry. Anyone moved out successfully? What were your experiences.
