Hello Uncle, how does it feel to be stuck in SM?

Apart from technical skills, seems like most of them lack the interview skills to be moving to better roles. Stuck in a soul-sucking job in their 30s and 40s, having to juggle extreme working hours and their kids, with near-zero chance of making partner.

So to those staff and seniors currently at big 4, please don’t be blindsided by your chase for progression/promotions. Take a step back and consider the life you want to be living in your 30s and 40s and make the correct moves in your career.
It’s like buying lottery. They bait you with near-zero but non-zero chance.

That’s why Singapore pools forever long queue during angbao draw.

Feel so sorry for these 198X Senior Managers.

Do you feel like the 198x and 199x cannot connect with the post 2000 staff?

3 years? 5 years?

If not, for now.... please endure the BS by seniors and junior.
Approximately 6 more years to we Gen Z take over.

Gen Z is growing up: In 2024, the generation born between 1996 to 2010 is expected to overtake Baby Boomers in the full-time workforce, according to a recent analysis by Glassdoor.

By 2030, Gen Z will make up approximately 30 percent of the workforce.

We will takeover and become your managers and senior managers. We will run the show. We will change the world.

Stress can break people. I have seen perfectly nice managers crack recently because they had more than 10 signings in a single week thanks to the attritions.

As for the GenZ thinking they can change things, did they even look at their own batch's attrition rate? At this rate, none will be left and the managers in 6 years time will be 100% imported. I've never seen such a wave of resignations before they hit the 6 months mark, let alone the 1 year mark.

I don't know about the rest of SM

For me I treat the managers, seniors, juniors with good food and buffet

If I go Japan, I will buy cookies and tidbits and sweet for everyone

Of course no more fieldwork.

Uncle needs to deal with stiff neck, back pain, knee pain, big tummy, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, kids need to send to primary school.

Where got time for fieldwork
