I am a junior/mid level at intl firm (small in sg). Been here for almost 1 year. Joined from a mid size local firm where I did different work so I felt very lucky to get the intl firm offer. Earning a bit more than MC.
The problem is it has been quite slow. The partner does a lot of BD but not much real work. I work maybe half a day on weekdays, rarely after 6 or on weekends, and it is mostly BD.
I see a lot of big 4/MCs hiring now. Should I move to get real work experience? I feel like I am not learning and if I get fired I will be a senior assoc in this field but no real skills. But I don’t care about partnership and I don’t think I will be fired for some time so I can just collect paycheck, then maybe can go inhouse.
TLDR - should I earn money doing nothing, or give up WL balance + paycheck to chiong?

The important questions to ask yourself are: (1) can you really tahan the long/tough hours and politics involved to climb at MC/local law firms (they often only make salary partners that don’t pay that well) and (2) if the answer to (1) is affirmative, is there a realistic chance?

The name not there? From SMU one. Not well-liked amongst her peers, from what I understand.
But back on topic, not aware of any OnlyFans 😬

Can confirm that for the graduating batch (2024), firms like DRD and WP taking in second lowers.
How the mighty have fallen.
