They not as good as us, their membership doesn’t entitle them to those international membership reciprocal arrangement.

And if they ever fail to pay membership fee, they cannot reinstate membership unless they take scaq.

The article also says the professional programme modules which are not available for exemptions will be weaved into their accountancy studies.

You didn’t learn the same things as them.
My friend, who completed the same module, qualified for the FR exemption because her graduation was slightly delayed due to a leave of absence. We learned the same thing.

Eh my thinking is opposite.

You guys are not as good as last time. And I’m sure most people will readily agree the average student from the AAA batch is stronger than the average student in the BBC batch.

No fight one. Back then was cut throat competitive, people will betray their best friend for the smallest advantage.

Nonsense, the current scaq dont even add any value to the learners. U basically redoing ur degree 1 more time. The ibs module is a joke.

Where are those average students from the Aaa batch now? Still in big 4?

The 2012 batch graduated 12 years ago.

By now they would be in mid to late 30s.

Probably started families with kids by now.

Wow ok salute, impressed if u completed the whole of new scaq pp, more impressive if you took it without any exemptions .
For some of us, taking the full scaq pp is too much of a commitment in addition to our family and financial commitment we alrdy have.
If given an option to just put us in this old lousier membership, ppl like us will still happily accept it. Separate us from the new "elite prestigious" modern CA Sg, we are okie w it. The internationalisation part we dun really need it. Haha.

Dunno why y’all comparing aaa or bbc.. you dun even need a degree for audit. Acca or diploma will do. The reputation of your uni doesn’t even matter in this field. NTU, NUS, SMU, Sunway , private uni, foreign uni etc etc. All doing the same job, same pay what. Lol
