Based on my understanding, HDB pays better than JTC. PUB could be higher than HDB cos (if I'm not wrong) PUB has MAC.

If she joined as an engineer recently, she will most certainly be promoted by Apr 2025. Instant 10% increase in salary.

Hmm I thought most ppl with bachelor deg mostly get promoted from engineer to next level within 1.5 to 2 years? There's no difference even with masters or?

Masters doesn't do anything unless sponsored by LTA under scholarship.

JTC under MTI whereas HDB under MND - which ministry making more money? Lol

First question JTC HR asked me was if I am able to take a pay cut. It didn't happen for HDB. I could be wrong, but this is how I came to this conclusion. It's based on my personal experience job hunting 2+ years ago.

Could be, but since he was asking about LTA, I am just replying based on my past experience in LTA.

I had some colleagues with masters that are treated exactly the same as a bachelor grad. The reason is because the masters does not give any additional benefit in terms of technical professional certifications.
