Sometimes I do feel depressed with my stress and workload and having to work long hours. But the compensation part is true. Whether u believe it or not its up to u. Many people at my age, esp girls, do earn more than me at my position due to NS.

You work MOH in house lawyer? Could not think of other professional position that can be inside MOH. Or maybe you are doctor but hearsaid that doctor who working in that ministry are not consider working as a doctor, just highly qualified generic staff, don't know zhun bo.

I just finished a finance degree from Murdoch , thinking if I should with to other MX roles within civil service. wonder if any chance I will be offer MX12 instead of Mx 13

I am in similar boat, from SAF diploma, was there for 6.5 years. Took my degree and went to MOH, 2.5 years in MOH already, got offered MX12 on signing. 5.5k base pay now excluding bonuses. Reaching the ceiling of 6.2k next year.

Murdoch Kaplan? That doesn't count. Your highest qualification is still diploma.

Who say does not count??.. Stat board does recognised private degrees.. How i know, cos i also same.. Last time ministrt diploma, now stat board use my Murdoch degree.. But most importantly the skills that u have can be used at the new degree post, usually if u have experience doing procurement or wri3paper easier to change within agencies.
