That's super high for a fresh grad...usually people have to work about 5-6 years from frsh grad to get it. Is it because of your fch? Or is a specialised role in the ministry?

Hi, started working in a ministry in 2020 as a diploma holder with MX14 grade. current salary 3k. reapplied into the same ministry for MX12, Manager with bachelors degree. 26M with NS.
Any suggestions on salary expectation or suggestions please. Thank you!

If your previous experience unrelated hard to get the job.. U likely need to start from mx13 post before going to mx12 role..

Can you elaborate more? Are you under the MX scheme? Ministry or SB? Were you on some form of scholarship? I seldom hear people calling themselves "someone in the government", usually "for someone in public/civil service" or "someone in a government job".

Because the scholars, pslp etc get more bonus but their base pay only higher because of accumulated high MIs and not likely to be 5 figures at 32 yo
But if OP meant annual pay divide by 12, I think the top 30% to 40% can easily reach that

OP here. Thanks for the helpful advice, I know where I stand now. To those saying it’s impossible, not everyone is on the same scheme, there are so many schemes in public service and it can be possible for some.
