Pls dont waste your time and money doing Master's (even with a scholarship, because lost time = lost money). It's the most useless thing ever

In the engineering industry, not all degrees are recognised by PEB. So people that graduate from unis like SIT have to take a masters from a recognised uni in order to take the PE exams.
Can't say it's totally useless. It depends.

Recognised if it's from NTU. Got degree in NTU, no point getting masters if ur aim is just to get PE. Some SIT grads have to go to NTU to get masters so they can be recognised by PE board.
