Snr Mgr at HPB, what to expect?
Final round for Senior manager at Statboard ( HPB), does any kind soul know what MX and pay grade this should be?
I have looked at the list but seems some statboards got different practices, and ppl earning vastly different salaries at the same rank?
Coming from a frontline job in the past (working total of 7+ years now) Senior manager sounds high to me, but heard fresh grad also Manager alr?

Maxed out salary on contract
Hi all,
I joined a government agency less than 6 months ago on a 1-year contract and was offered a salary close to the ceiling of the range. Recently there was a salary/market adjustment and my salary has now reached the limit. If I get the opportunity to converted to a perm position, would I likely be offered the maxed out salary or is there a possibility of negotiating for one grade higher during the performance/contract review period? Thanks!

Don’t be deceived by the title. Senior manager is just an individual contributor.

Depends on grade. Unlikely they will match your TC as it's way above the usual band for a non-scholar/PSLP person.
You will likely take a paycut to maybe 150k.

220k why move to CS. Unlikely will match and also won't put you into interview consideration due to your high annum. Unless you are in the niche tech field maybe they check in with you.

A DD pay so low? More like a manager pay in the MNC or SM pay stat board.
