Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone from HR or is at a hiring level here who can give some advice. My former agency has an opening and I was referred by ex-colleagues to apply for the position. I want to find out whether for an estab, it's based on a grade range or specific grade (i.e. MX11 to MX11b or MX11 only), and if it's tied to a budget for salary (e.g. up to max $5000 for this headcount). Would like some insights on this so that I can see how I want to put my expected salary in the application.
My current agency not under MX scheme and has higher salary ceiling and salary range.

estabs are based on a specific grade. but i have seen people get hired above the salary cap and also below the grade (e.g hire a MX11 into a MX11a estab). so I think as long as the overall team is within budget, there is flexibility
