Lmao, brutal.
To all the SIMians in this thread, just stop pretending you attended a real university. It just makes people laugh at you.

new grad from sim here. I am definitely well below my local uni peers in both job opportunities and starting salary.
Anecdotally, my local uni friends in biz/finance are getting 5.5-6k for their first job. We SIMs will settle for 2k - really we'd be glad just to have a job, be it wiping tables or cleaning toilets.
Sucks to be the bottom of society, but it is what it is.

Tbh it depends on your luck.
I was from SIM comp science, damn easy lol first class was some python basic stuff, got about 10 modules on core programming concepts, I cheated on all of them LMAO just copy assignments from chegg.com
graduate in 3 years, joined DBS SEED, start at 5k pay, end around 6.4k, then i joined zendesk as a software engineer 2, getting 7.5k a month
now its near impossible to do this anymore, bar is much higher, companies laying people off, interviews not so easy anymore, cant cheat easily either, they have better assignment checkers now
