I'm not the original poster you quoted but:
1. Invest your OA
These days there are tons of options like roboadvisors, T-bills, etc which you can use to invest the exvess above 20k CPF OA.
Considering SA and CPF in general is already akin to bonds, I put it to work in equity-based mutual funds.
2. Maximise your CPF contributions
Personally, I don't do this because I am concerned of CPF rules changes but this is legit.
What you do is first top up cash to your medisave account to hit the basic healthcare sum.
Now whenever you work, the CPF contribution that goes to medisave will be flowed to SA.
Next step is top up or naturally let your SA reach FRS.
Now whenever you work, the CPF contribution that goes to SA (including what overflowed from MA) will go to OA.
3. Get a high paying job.
Self-explanatory.
All these 3 can be done together.
