Agreed with this poster. Your CEP is by right not supposed to affect your PG. However there may be circumstances your boss needs to promote either a scholar or an older staff and has to choose.

In those situations you may be used as a sacrifice to give the other guy their 'B' rating or promotion. But that is just the nature of service.

Got an offer from PA, same grade, 4 weekdays 1 weekend work shift, increment of $350 as compared to current role.

Should i make the jump?

How much is the increment in terms of %?

If you earning 2k and the jump is 350, means 18% increase, but if you earning 5k, the increment is only 7%.

Don't bro. PA a lot of sai kang one. And its grassroot intensive. need suck up to grassroot leaders, mp, ministers like a dog.

Weekend burn also cause of the shift.

imo not worth.
