No you will not be given MI till you finish 1 year, and the increment amount is dependent on your ADP outcome which is done 3 months before your 1 year mark.

Thanks! A little confused as the earlier poster mentioned otherwise. Is this different across ministries and stat boards? I am heading to a stat board.

As far as I know, MI at 1 year mark, your next MI will be prorated, so the earlier poster isn't wrong either.

Are there any stat boards that provide retention payouts? Or do only Ministries have those?

I am offered a contract of 3 years for a job in civil service, I thought typically should be only 2 years?
