Hw much is the MDR for cloud infra engineer (II)? I got the email for adhoc competency assessment for MDR but not sure what the process is like? Need to go thru panel assessment for MDR? Anyone did this can give insights on if it's worth it to try for MDR?

People here are nice but ineffective
Product Manager
Current employee, more than 3 years
Pros
1. Good pay
2. Real sense that people want to do tech for public good
3. Working level colleagues are generally nice and supportive
Cons
1. Senior management is not aligned with each other. CE says one thing, DCE says another thing, directors say something else. Guess who has to deal with the misalignment?
2. Technical leadership is not that strong. Working level never gets to interface with the distinguished engineers, there is no senior designer with credible experience, and product management capabilities are quite weak.
3. Not clear where the org is going. There's a lot of talk about being a high-performing org, but no one can say what that means.
Advice to Management
We need better technical and people leaders. This includes people in senior management roles. There's no point posting so many things on LinkedIn on thought leadership and your latest book when your own org cannot make it.

Not cloud infra engineer here. As long as you do not need L4 for your competency framework, then the approving line is RO and chapter lead judging on what you wrote inside the assessment.
Amount of MDR depends, but from what I have heard around, it's on the single digit percent.

Adding on, most likely you just need L2, which means only your RO will judge. So it's basically free money as long as your RO is willing to help you.

Only applicable to AIE
