What are my options if i dont follow usual route.
Many thanks.

another post by a non-law student using engineering level sentencing and grammar. What's up with the influx of non-lawyers in this thread. Makes me question the authenticity of the content in this forum. The training period is still 6 months for those graduating this year

And even then, it takes an additional 3 years for them to get qualified (1 year SQE, 2 years TC). The people who get straight TCs off penultimate year in uni are really exceptional cases in the grand scheme (and even then they take 3 years to qualify).
So, the grass is not always greener.

Agreed, and to add - a $7k NQ salary (assuming you live with at home) is more or less the same take-home as a London MC NQ on £125k gross after he/she pays 40% tax and rent, and before considering the generally higher COL in the UK. And as you said, in SG the qualification process is much shorter so you'll get to that level of earning faster than someone in the UK.

The one extra year of training is nothing compared to the much lengthier training period that other professionals like doctors have to go through. The stress and hours that lawyers face are also no different to other highly-paid white collar jobs like bankers and consultants.

DENTISTRY. Starting pay is around $7000/month as well for a fresh IMG dentistry graduate working at a major chain like Q&M. No service bond to the government is required if you studied abroad in a recognised dental school.
Downside is the higher cost of school fees and the lengthier duration of study.

It’s even harder to get into dentistry than law. Law also doesn’t specifically require certain subjects to be studied (barring GP).
So, that’s the other thing that law as a degree has going for it - lowest common denominator.

So it mean they are not necessarily non-law people ok. No one said to be lawyer you cannot be allow to write using this manner.

You are deliberately ignoring the hefty cost of privately funding a recognised BDS, for which there are next to no scholarships if one doesn't take the MOHH bond.
If an OSU law degree is already exclusivist by nature of the high school and COL fees, an overseas dental degree is arguably even more exclusive and out of the reach for a majority of middle class background kids. Only upper middle class and above need apply, and these kids never needed the money in the first place with their family safety net.
