From the way it seems, only fact is the hr team or on-boarding team at ACN sucks LOLLL. Never heard of such a messy offer process and what’s the purpose of a background check if it drags for months even into your work? Background check is to check on the employee but if the employee is able to work first even before the background check is concluded then what’s the purpose of it LOLLl. So again shows that ACN just sucks basically. Anyway no one will stay in this company all the way, many leave after a year or two. Only those that are incompetent remains cos no where else to go LOL. To all fresh grads joining as a first job, leave to better firms after 2 years at most. Never seen anyone praising this company but only have many terrible things to say.

A background check in this case (i.e. where low-skilled Accenture employees are concerned) would usually just be to verify the information which you provided in your application (e.g. employment history verification, personal information, education certs). So there's no reason for you to be worried unless you lied on your CV. You won't need the full blown background check which lawyers or bank executives require which may cover social media and conflicts and all that stuff.

In any case, it is very usual for employment contracts to state that your employment is subject to background checks and can be terminated if any red flags show up. Pretty clear you haven't really been in any position of importance before.

We call it offer email as the salary, allowance, other benefits are listed in a table form in the email and was told to fill in some excel form on personal data. if your background check is completed within a short period of time, it means you haven't had any background to begin with. The more experience and credentials you have, the longer it takes.
Also, do you know what's a probation period? If you fail your background check, ACCN will terminate your contract.

This forum is truly full of clowns. But yes, the company is mostly dog shite. Nice to have on resume, but a worthless place to stay in the long term

If you’ve gotten the email offer, you should be fine. I doubt this doesn’t count as an offer since it’s literally sent by the recruiter and have specifically mentioned the salary, bonus, medical benefits and all.

No one is afraid of any background checks lol, only you would read it this way seems like you’re the kind who are afraid or in fact have never have any internships or employment history to begin with. Simple English also can’t analyse, the op is just saying purpose of background check usually should be completed before you commence work ideally. In fact, have never came across any other companies that are that messy in their recruitment process as compared to that of Accenture.

You are the clown ... it is very very common for background checks which are conducted by external parties to take 1+ month and for industries with short notice periods, it is actually quite common for people to start work without their background checks completed.

I myself have been in that situation when switching banks. You guys like to **** on accenture without even knowing how the world works, hilarious man
