Some really damn smart & boss promotes.
Some just helicopter or parachutes as Assistant Director or Director level.

The Poly & ITE should review on the salary schemes of those who are more than 10 years.
Talented and hardworking people are leaving because of the above.
GovTech are paying some much higher. what's going on??!

HR using bonus to nego the monthly salary... lame la. say what with bonus my monthly will be higher than my monthly now. joke lol. if I slave for govt I deserve the bonus. where can use it to nego salary one

Has anyone tried to re-nego salary and they actually offered higher ? Because I thought government normally what they offer is take it or leave it

Idk… gonna try nego. I have many offers offering higher than poly but I still wanna teach. I worked FT while slaved PT for my MSC, ended up no pay increment, ……….. is legit damn sian

didnt work for me.

i had a competitive offer about 18% higher than what poly offered. Hr said max liao.
i still took it thou, it was about 55% pay cut from previous

i had more than 12k pay cut.

was attracted to the low working hours, at the start its true, but now its like increasing. most likely will leave b4 1st contract ends.

i managed to nego so got increase by close to 400. i took the role lol and will see how for 1-2 years. idk is it gonna be the right choice since i rejected offers from private.

Some Directors fed-up with admin/politicking & happilly downgraded 2scales to return to teaching. Adding to Earlier Posts=many Senior Lecturers r at IPS7,8,9. Unsure if any SnrLects at IPS10. Thus updated below:-
