Gotta be patient man. I sent like 100++ applications across linkedin mycareersfuture indeed efinancialcareers in a month, more than half of them require creating accounts on their own homepages. Got about 3 interviews so far, 2 rejected 1 waiting. This 4th one most promising so really hope they want me.

Manager ask me update 5 FS over a week, i only updated resignation letter so far.

Hi fellow seniors and associates, I advice you guys to stay in Big 4 audit. according to the report on accountancy workforce review committee, partners earn a median salary of 405k SGD within 12-20 years. This is considered good for average joes here. Given that there are so many people quitting big4, those auditors who chose to stay on will have a higher chance of making partner and becoming one is just a matter of time. You can’t even smell half of partner salary if you quit big4.

Sounds good, but you have to sacrifice so much of your time (7 days a week). What else can you learn after Senior 1? It seems like it’s the same portfolio. Won’t your exit get tougher if you over stayed your time? Not a lot of skills are transferable for commercial position

You sound like someone that exited big 4 too early and now all your peers who stayed in big 4 are earning 5 digits easily and you trying your hardest to justify why staying in big 4 is a bad option.
