Seconding this. There's so much more options if you have less than 2 years of working experience like grad programs which seniors cant join. If those associates dont like audit, just go join those. If you realy cannot find a job then maybe you arent as great as you think you are, especially when companies nowadays are just grabbing any locals they can get so that they can hire more senior FTs.

My interns who actually like accounting perform much better than the local uni associates who think they're too good for audit. I **** on the stupid jhk flood by greedy partners as much as the next person but given the choice, I rather have the jhk and private uni grad who do their work compared to the cb who give me their workload but not their paycheck.

I have one client who, I can't tell, is either genuinely confused or pretending to be, asking me about my audit requirements.

Additionally, I have another client who insists that the main role of an auditor is to uncover fraud. This client likely failed the audit module in university.

Is because of the brand.

NTU/NUS/SMU folks know that the client are paying Big4 big audit fees.

Why?

Because client believe Big4 in quality

Because client believe Big4 hire all local big 3 universities

If you tell client, the accounts are not audited by big 3 uni, THEN HOW?

RUBBRISH BRAND? pay so much for brand?

Your colleague from local university KNOW THAT BIG4 RELY on their LOCAL UNI DEGREE....as brand mah
