It sounds extremely low to me. I thought fresh grad from local U starts from MX12? why your grade is low as well?

Right? Originally, i applied for the job advertisement but was informed that my role will be different from the job ad (I suspect it was a MX12 role.) They have cautioned me that it’s MX13I but i agreed to it with good faith that their offer will be given in the range compared to my previous job grade. Not sure why they lowballed me even though the offer was not at the max range. Should i reject it?

I suspect you worked in another gov agency before with diploma qualification. So after your part-time degree, you are trying to apply jobs based on the updated degree? Seems the HR offered you Mx 13 based on your previous Mx grade. This is definitely a low balled offer, advise you to think twice cuz both rank and pay are lower than what you as a degree holder should have

It's a reputable agency with good reviews. Yes, I gave them my payslip. Don't tell me that I should not give my payslips to them, correct?

Yes. OK, thanks for your advice. Appreciate it. Will rethink it again carefully.
