Thanks. Yes, I am a Singaporean, keenly aware how things, but do believe in being cordial and professional.

Hi seniors, for gp land, is it better to join a large group (rmg, shenton, Fullerton) or a medium sized group (with 8-10 clinics islandwide- many examples can't name all) if the pay, working hours and benefits (e.g AL) are around the same?

Op here. Just to add, Specifically I want to learn more about running a clinic from a business perspective, how you manage inventory, navigate healthier sg, deal with insurance/tpa, liasing with other stake holders like radio/lab services etc.
I do plan to start a clinic one day if possible, but no capital/experience so want to learn the ropes first. (Hence I feel full time locum not the best option for me).
Worked mainly in hospital then ops, so learnt mainly clinical things (also passed mmed last year, but understand it is not so relevant in gp land) but not so much the business side.

Can we give MCs to family members like parents? Tried to find in SMC website and all but can't find the answer.

Feel sorry for your patients if you are this presumptuous at the clinic. There's no mention that I wasn't going to ask MoH and it's not even implicit that the question is about working part time while conditionally registered.
Hopefully, someone more engaging would drop by and share their thoughts.

some people just like to discourage others. your question is valid

In other countries it is only if you are in a situation
Where you have no access to other healh care providers.
Otherwise it is best not to.
