Well said.
I propose that all medical schools in SG should have a 3 month module for aesthetics so all medical students can get exposed to this.

Medical schools always place more emphasis on clinical research and other scholarly activities. Hardly any talk about the financial parts of having your clinical practice or even aesthetics.

Medicine (non procedural and generalists) is the next profession that will see an erosion in wages. This is happening globally.
as we approach these end stages of capitalism, the finance juggernaut is where the money lies. "Investments", "instruments" "Institutions (financial).
The Tech sector will prolong capitalism. But eventually society and the monetary system will collapse.

Why xiasuay? What's wrong with aesthetics? I don't do it myself, but have always respected it as a discipline that doctors can choose to do (just like gs, ortho, GM etc..)

U jelly ah. Aesthetics is the new way to be rich. Sinkie doctors should upskill and join such high earning disciplines. The other more manual labour type of specialisms can be done by poor third world doctors that we import by the planeloads

I understand that they are beauticians in name, but never understood why the anger. I am a FM resident and my rcc preceptor was having a rant last week about one of my fellow residents who quit for aesthetics. I certainly have no plan to go aesthetics but never understood the anger as afterall it's a free market, and naturally people will be attracted to the wealth that aesthetics bring. (interestingly, he sounds ok when I told him I plan to join GPland after residency)
