Your preceptor is right to be angry! Nothing wrong about going into aesthetics, but come on you are wasting an FM residency spot that can be given to those are really passionate about primary care!

Maybe in London especially F1 I know some people still get allowance but i think that's an exaggeration. Most people can afford to live on NHS salary after graduation easily and buy a house in registrar years if live outside of London. No BtO and have to pay rent but still doable with locums
