Not true leh. For specialist, you can leave once you hit consultant. I have seen private derm, endocrine and other medical specialists leave in their mid 30s. (At least they working in rmg, which is where I work as a gp now- I check the directory) mount e I not sure

Your own kids, you wouldnt advise them to be GPs?

My kids don't want to be Drs. My older boy doing Banking and Finance in poly and my younger one doing homeschooling in Computing, Science, Eng and Maths. He shows promise in Computing without any help can build a game and website so maybe steer him to Computer Science.
Just went to Tembusu Grand showflat. 3 bedder at S$2.7 mil already. Heard there are units selling at more than S$3k psf in other launches! Really expensive.
Yeah, things are much more expensive and salaries are not keeping up.

6.5k after cpf? You are now pgy 6? Meaning all your bonuses went to exams?

Parents 2k a bit too much. But since they pay for ur uk sch fees
So okie. Next time can inherit their wealth too.
Why spend 800 for insurance?
Use mindef Sing life.
Cancel your ILP. If you just started <2 years
I have best in class hospitalisation integrated shield , max out mindef singlife for term, PA, critical illness and early critical.
The Mrcp and GDFM cost is worth it.
Just your iLP is quite effy
But on behalf of your insurance agent, I thank you for sponsoring his Audi and overseas trips.

Yup insurance cum financial advisor love to target doctors.
Call them "high net worth" clients.
But really is to massage their ego. Make them feel like very satki
Tell them things like you will be making 300k 500k need to protect
That with insurance. So buy expensive ILP stuff.
Helps that most drs are by and large ignorant of financial matters.
Kum sia.
