I feel that joining a smaller group- you have a higher chance of things like profit sharing etc
I have joined smaller groups twice before and chains twice as well. My experience is much better with the larger chains.

It is difficult to take mc, hospitalisation leave and bosses more vindictive in the smaller groups though they can promise you higher pay.

Currently in a chain which has good structured training and good bonuses.

To add on, there are differences in chains as well. The first chain I joined had no bonuses nor annual increments at all. Now the different chain that I am in has good annual bonus, mthly variable performance bonus, share options and annual increment. I was pleasantly surprised that the employer cpf of the bonus is not limited to the first S$6k too. Colleagues are also much nicer.

Complicated one left to ops 10 minutes each.
And how many complicated cases can ops doctor see a day?
Very chuan to see 1 already.
1 day u give me 10, I give up liao.
Chin chye do
End up become unhealthier overall.
Simple one already well controlled. Give cm see also no problem
Uncontrolled one now no one save them.

All this tell tan chor chuan already.

Bloody hell retirement mode is like this.
Yeah, I worked in polyclinic before. As a MO, I wanted to quit after one week. Once saw nearly 100 URTI cases from day to night clinic. And even as a locum years later, I locumed in a polyclinic which had to toggle between 3 computer screens and also team skype as well. Very tedious. Private GP is much better and saner.

The first chain with no bonus nor increments for 4 years was Parkway Shenton. The better chain now is RMG.

But I must add on that locum still pays better on a hrly rate just that it is less stable. No CPF nor paid leave nor bonuses.

But Parkway Shenton was many many years ago. Maybe things are better now.

RMG has admin work though like concluding health screenings and preemployment check ups. And updating vaccinations in the National Immunisation Registry.

Parkway shenton paid the best many years ago.
They benchmark your salary to locum rates, no bonus becuase all paid to you upfront
Per hourly rate is 20 dollars more than rmg easily.

Rmg pays a pittance la.
