The variance is wider in Law compared to Medicine. In Law, the worse performers (third class degree holders/second class degree holders from Australian/delisted schools) don’t even get a TC. Most of them end up as teachers, or worse grab drivers.
In Medicine, even the worse performing students who graduate with a medical degree, land up as GPs eventually. The salary might not be high compared to a surgeon but 200K/year is nothing to scuff at. Not withstanding the solid employment prospects.

We're talking about just M&A here, because "transactional work" can refer to a whole slew of practice areas.
For M&A, WongP is a good choice, but firm second to A&G. R&T is also okay but behind WongP. Drew is meh. SLB is okay too. For the rest... YMMV.

Does anyone know how much HSF/Prolegis is offering allowance for the singapore
TC? Heard it's same as the international TC.

Can't disclose the exact amount but I would say it's within 5-10% thereabouts.
