yeah, honestly this is life isn't it. 50% own talent, 50% parents help - be it by parents sponsoring overseas uni, or pulling some strings here and then.

Corp as a career meaning - may want to jump to international firms, but also if cannot make it, would like to stay and make partner at A&G/Baker

Does anyone know how much CMS Holborn pays their NQs and juniors? CMS NQ pay in London is £105,000 p.a. Is the Singapore office anywhere close to that scale?

Lol not at all close to that scale on the Sg side, definitely less than B4. Just look at the salary range on their previous mycareersfuture job listings - 7k for 2PQE in IP/TMT.
International side higher but trickier to get hired there. Fair warning though that in the UK they are laying off associates
