Sounds salty my dude. Can you even make it for any of the internships in MBB first before commenting on someone else who at least have it? But good for that dude who at least have some pretty good internships which also shows his abilities and pretty sure he’s able to get good offers or a better pay. If you accept acn’s offer, you’re better off negotiating for a higher pay with your experiences.

Some people may not like MBB as much as how many sees it as prestigious. But only those who have been in one before knows the workload and travel etc, it may not be for everyone. But it’s nice to experience working in one be it as an intern, contract or full timer.
Actually to any consulting wannabes, if you’re aiming for MBB it’s better if you go in with a MBA or jump over from your previous consulting role. Cos you will have more experience and be more mature or knowledgeable to ensure that you can get promoted. Consulting is a cutthroat industry where it’s either up or out.

I work about 60 hours per week. Some days longer, some days shorter. Not kidding, mainly because I was assigned a manager role but I entered as a fresh grad... sigh. About 7 months into the role, hope they don't extend me man...

Shag man
So you joined as a fresh grad and got promoted to a manager now? That’s quite a good promotion cycle you have. During your time here what’s some of the pros and maybe perks too? Heard that they revise the insurance package last year and it’s much better now

Haha I wished, I'm being paid a fresh grad pay but doing manager-level work. Basically when I googled the role, they kind of put a poster online saying that they are willing to pay for experienced personnel for 6k - 11k range. Basically got lowballed lor... But even without much mentorship, I can safely say that the technical skills required are quite easy to pick up la as long as one got programming experience, just that the project knowledge is a little hard lah... especially when there is no mentorship

The fact that the poster can get an internship in one of the MBB already shows he is capable

Are you under the TAP? You’re from the tech side is it since it sounds like you have quite a few technical aspects on the job. Gg it just seems like you are a high performer and they feel you can do the manager role so put you there but at the same time they see that you’re a fresh grad so they don’t bother paying you what your role actually entails…jy though, not looking for exit opportunities?

Is the pay for analysts same across the functions? Do analysts under the talent advancement program earns more than the analysts who are not under tap?

Accenture really slow sia for the graduate consulting analyst opening. It’s been like 2 months and they say will only start reaching out end March onwards…dk why need so long loll. status have been under review like a few who have shared here. Although I know they just gave offers out for the first batch general tap…can’t they speed up their process for the later openings ugh :/
