No idea does fresh hire who got hired before graduation need to provide the certification once they graduate? If they need to, then, I don't think he can keep this under wrap lol.
Either way my advise to him is to speak with the HR, and best, if he can directly communicate with his PM... Ultimately, the PM might be able to work out a better solution than the HR. After all it's just one mod, so he can pretty much do flexi-hour anyway.
I think this is fraud as well, right? Because he is not providing correct information to gain employment.

I understand your qns as does grades affect career prospect in ACN.
Ans is generally a no. Because HR, TL, Project has no time and won't bother to go dig out your GPA to decide whether to promote you or not.
Once you get into the company, what matters is your work performance, not something irrelevant to work anymore.

I see thanks, will definitely be working hard for my job to make up for my poor grades. Not too sure how long you’ve been in the workforce, but was curious also, for your second job like for example if you leave after working in acn for a couple of years, would your future jobs look at your uni grades or cert as well?

No one gives a **** about your GPA.
Good GPA but bad performer is worse than bad GPA high performer.

Agree with the above posters’ replies. Poor degree grades aren’t the end tbh, there’s people who only got a pass cert but are doing very well on the job. Nowadays recruiters tend to look beyond grades, such as internships/work experience, soft skills and hard skills, leadership and what outside school activities do you engaged in. If you have all of these but a less than ideal grade, you’re still stronger than someone with amazing grades but none of the above. Working isn’t like studying where you just mug and definitely score well, working world involves so many other factors such as your soft skills and hard skills, work relationships especially with clients (this kind how to study for it lol only can achieve it from your experiences and stakeholder mgmt skills).
On a whole, direct ans is poor grades don’t affect your job promotion. Just work hard for your job and you’ll be fine. Hope is still there, good luck and don’t give up!

No one cares about GPA except for weird companies like Shopee, etc.
In which case do you really want to work for such a company where they think that GPA actually matters? there's tons of MIT graduates with sub-par GPA yet they will destroy every single one of our top NTU / NUS scholar CS grads in terms of pure technical skills ( lets not even compare soft skills, Singaporean's soft skills are dog-**** tier anyway )

Do Accenture rehired past employees? For example if an employee went to another company and decides to come back or the employee quit to further studies and thereafter join back? Know of some companies such as Bloomberg that never rehire employees who left for whatever reason.
