Dk why some of u have the idea that the big3 accounting grads in big4 are smart. I have met quite a couple of them who are not very bright and requires me to seriously hold their hand to get them to complete their stuff. Sometimes I rather have experienced hire associates from msia in my team instead. Book smart does not equates street smart pls. And some of them are really socially awkward and a bunch of weirdos.

Maybe cuz in the past, there was the perception that it was harder to get into accounting courses at the Big 3 universities (requiring better grades), but it's no longer the case in recent years (from 2020/2021 intake).

Maybe the Big3 accounting graduates wouldn't do phantom vouching?

Partners still see Big3 accounting graduates honest and hardworking.

All or most AAA students went into computer science or IT lol. Well big 4 get what they pay for.

How come audit associates and audit seniors and audit managers and senior managers and partners all have to be responsible for the billable hours? So difficult job.

I see civil servants or public servants work 22 days also no need stress such thing as billable hours one.

Job budget is managers job scope.

Associates and seniors don’t have to care in my firm.

not op, but in addition to the 3, there are also graduates from SIT, SUSS, RMIT, UOL, UTAR, Sunway college, Universiti Malaya, University of reading etc etc.. so no the 3 local unis are not the norm.
