Most people hate their job scope, especially in the first year. There's so much saikang. I wish it could be cut short. Unless you're in the accelerated program, you don't have direct progression to A2.

is so weird to ask a NTU/ SMU/ NUS graduate to do the paperwork saikang
The job scope are too easy and simple
Wonder why need NTU/ SMU/ NUS graduate to do?
Use them as branding so can charge higher fees to clients?

not all NTU/ SMU/ NUS students are smart. you guys never had idiots as groupmates before? there's legit people who cannot figure out vouching and simple substantive analytics and i am thankful they dont get to take charge of engagements right off the bat. we'd probably miss out on 10 mandatory workpapers and signing papers 2 hours before signing.

They should go Temasek or GIC or any investment companies or financial institutions
Don't know why I feel audit is too easy for them
That's why smart one all left after 6 months

Agreed. If you have better opportunities at the start, don’t go into audit unless you’re certain you want to pursue accounting jobs. In audit, it doesn’t matter which school you’re from or which country you’re from, you're all paid the same and doing the same job.
