They say that what the audit partners and audit managers can do, they also can do it in terms of abilities.

Basically to say they are as smart as audit managers and audit partners, just that AM and AP were born earlier and joined big4 earlier only.
Exposure.. overtime these future leaders will definitely be there or even better.

Logically either the paper is harder or candidates didn’t prepare as well.

Because they need to fail you so that you are forced to retake and pay
its their way of earning income

Never trust SCAQ. totally a scam

finally someone has the same thinking as me.
how i hope Teo Ser Luck can understand it.

No point pouring money into the industry to attract ppl. He kept providing lower SCAQ, free tuitions fees for foreigners.....

The main thing is the WORK LOAD AND LOW PAY.
Boomers just dont get it.

Because just 7 years ago, the cohort of A1s were OK with working until 4am for 2.9k salary cause they see the value in other things and acknowledged as fresh graduates it is somewhat acceptable to suffer a bit for the longer future.

There was a sudden shfit to this instant gratification, work life balance, new generation that labels this as toxic and the higher ups need some time to adjust.

All you said is true about the "sudden shift".

But you conveniently left out the 1 most important thing...most industries' salaries have increased across the board by significantly more than audit. And they demand lower working hours to begin with.

Anybody who is able to do basic math can see that the effort-reward ratio in audit isn't worth it. Accounting grads, of all people, should be able to do the math.

Ppl who stay inside don’t see whats happening outside

To them nothing has changed, but the reality is they never change, the world change.
