Young gen don't want suffer under a mentor and see mentor's black face

Mentor can scold a young gen

Young gen can give you one middle finger and quit next day

Why would a young gen choose to suffer and tolerate a mentor's nonsense because of clocking the CPE hours...and also take exam and also can only change ATO once

The reason why a person tolerate a mentor's nonsense is because the person want achieve CA

Else there petty nothing much to learn from a mentor

The truth is the audit managers in their 30s and 40s and audit partners in 50s to 70s really need the young generation to perform field work..

But the young gen associates doesn't want to take examination for SCAQ

So this situation is so conflicated

Need to up the standards of this declining industry

We shld follow the US 150 hour rule to get CPA qualification.

To get CA, make everyone do an extra one year of masters

Now ISCA kpkb say no people want to join CA as a member

Last time set the bar so high then now lower the bar

This is so embarrassing

Why leh?

Scare not enough young graduates help you do vouching ah? hahaha
Will you support if your juniors need to take a 3 years programme and 5 papers to get CA, but you can / have gotten it for attending a 5 days course?

Not surprised no one back then sounded out this was a bad idea.

I also can see this coming from a mile away.

You are trying to raise the bar high, make it more prestigious and exclusive, like the Singapore law bar after graduation still need to take exam.

BUT you cannot just artificially make it prestigious by making it difficult

If today I change Yishun JC cut off points to 6 points, doesn’t mean it straight away become top JC.

End up I foresee 30 years old and 40 years old managers and even a 50 years partners doing the field work themselves by vouching themselves

This is what 30s and 40s most fear that there are no young gen to do sai kang for them

AM and AP all sit in the air con room review audit working gppaer

Even if you can get young sgreans to join big 4. They most likely dont have the BD skills to become partner.

The kinda ppl you want, they cfm alr join insurance/property agent and earn more than partners in their late 20s

How can I get my Ceca Manager to resign on his own? The reason we hired him is to build relationship with our India clients but he cant get along with his own people and always like to pick fight with clients.
