Big 4 have not been hiring lately, just look at the job portals if they have listed any
I think you can pull up your big 4 booking/allocation and see who are the new joiners?
Dont see many

Blue firm can't see because it's sorted by alphabetical order of names, not join date. But based on the managers I've spoken to, it's definitely true that they aren't really hiring. Mostly let existing seniors take on multiple jobs at the same time. Honestly they should just trim the fat at tech consulting instead of squeezing audit dry like this.

If the big4 are not actively hiring, then gg to the remaining seniors and staff for the upcoming peak season. I see many of my seniors and AM leaving in dec. some of them quit without a job on hand.

It's true, depends on partner. Some managers are involved in interview process only.

Yep and they're planning to fire people via PIP too. We're expected to work 2-3 jobs at the same time and work full days on weekends. My batchmates rather leave to do sales jobs because they don't want to be caught in the dumpster fire this upcoming peak.

You know the excuse they give is "you are the in-charge so die or not also you must complete it" right? Boundaries = hello PIP

If you watch the channel, she does give tips on how to communicate expectations professionally. For uncooperative bosses, getting HR involved is fine.

Too-da-loo.
