Accepted and offer letter but want to rescind

Hi all, If I want to rescind on a contract, would simply paying the salary in lieu under the termination clause be sufficient? Will there be any other repurcussions?

Hi all! Earlier on this year i signed a letter of appointment (which states the salary, leave, termination notice etc.). However, I've just received a better offer recently. The contract states that if I were to terminate the contract, i would have to give 1 months notice or pay the salary in lieu of notice. My contract starts in July. Will I be able to terminate the contract without paying now?

Is anyone here rescinding big 4 offers?

accepted and then rescind?

Anytime before day 1, just call or email to say you won't be taking up the position simple as thay
Don't be so kumgong and pay them 1 month's salary as compensation or whatnot.

Are u under probation? And have u on boarded already?

In same situation, I haven't onboard, but mine is early May

Just call them and hastala vista

Few companies will really sue you and enforce non compete clause Or demand you not to work in the field or similar companies for one year after voluntary resignation
