Lol. Engineering not that bad once you get to management role. Anyway, once you hit 4k-6k range its like your the same as those average ppl who became accountant/marketing manager etc who spent about 4-5years to become one. Normally, if your a first class/ second upper, your starting salary can be around 3.5k-4k now.

Engineer started at higher pay whereas the biz grads started at much lower pay, ie 2.7k (excluding those from banking). They need about 4-5 years to break even with you. However, the overall accumulated money you earned compared to them is much more.

Imagine when those manager who became stuck at that position...

Same goes for everyone what. Not everyone can go to management level.

Like this you can compare a biz grad (exclude bank) working for 5years and a engineer who cant reach management level. Overall engineer also earn more. It still comes down to your own capability. What makes you think that you can be in management level for biz sector when you cannot be one for engineering sector.

Post Average skills

Is there still a future for engineering ,say 9-10years later?

assuming your just an average engineer, not really the top.

Is it possible to hit a 5k-6k pay per month?

and also how long will it take to do.

More interested in automation and mechatronic fields.
not so much on chemical
