I was paid approximately that when I was 32. You should aim to double or triple that in 10 years.

Hello!
You could also consider working at a startup, even though
Lithan Hall Academy also has a programme where they place you at an
early stage startup for 12 months with regular salary, while giving you
the opportunity to pursue a diploma in technopreneurship. So if you've always wanted to start your own business, its a great opportunity to learn and gain first-hand experience.
Do check it out:

Hope this helps!

wa. reading all the posts above really makes me feel discouraged about pursuing an engineering degree. seems like i made the wrong decision to reject NTU business and opt for NUS industrial and systems eng.
btw, can anyone provide me details about what exactly is industrial and systems eng and what kind of career opportunities will i have?

because you don't even know what you signed up to study! epic fail. IE and s engineering mean designing optimizing analyzing systems la. IE like motion time study, simulation, optimizations, systems modeling, queueing theory, petri nets, msrkov modeling, may include some supply chain management etc. the way you think , you better opt back for biz degree la. don't think engin suit you as you never even do background check before jumping in, and only look at how much you can earn.

I ignore this guy. Always look at how much you can earn regardless of whatsoever. I used to be a electrical engineer doing firmware. Then i changed to logistics support and do excel entry. MUCH easier, MORE pay.
Remember, doing more/harder/faster/better does not equals more pay.
